yt is an open-source python package for analyzing and visualizing volumetric data. This two-hour workshop will cover basic usage of yt, including the yt data model, yt’s field system, basic visualization workflows, and data analysis and reduction tasks. The workshop will help researchers start using yt and gain insights into their simulations and data.
